Now, Malala Yousafzai tweets Pakistan’s military (DGISPR), and Prime Minister Imran Khan. In particular, she asks for an explanation on how her shooter, Ehsan, did escape from the government’s custody.

On Wednesday, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’s (TTP) ex spokesperson Ehsanullah Ehsan, takes responsibility for shooting at Malala in 2012. In fact, he threatens the Nobel Laureate on Twitter saying next time, there will be no mistake.
Ehsan’s threatening post did prompt Yousafzai to question Pakistan’s army (DGISPR) and PM Imran Khan on Twitter. She asks for an explanation on how the shooter did escape from prison. Yousafzai tweets, “This is the ex-spokesperson of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan who claims responsibility for the attack on me and many innocent people. He is now threatening people on social media. How did he escape @OfficialDGISPR@ImranKhanPTI?.”
Meanwhile, Twitter did suspend Ehsanullah’s account on Wednesday, permanently.

Ehsan Claims Torture in Audio Message

It is worth mentioning that the former TTP spokesperson did shoot at Malala and injured her nine years ago. In 2020, Ehsan’s escape from prison did create an uproar in Pakistan. Especially, when the Opposition did accuse the government of negligence.
Also, in January 2020, Ehsan in an audio message did say that he did escape from Pakistan’s jail. Though, the Pakistan army did not confirm his escape.
Importantly, Ehsan did mention his name in the message. Also, he did say that he is the former spokesman of TTP and Jamaatul Ahrar. In addition, he said that he did surrender to Pakistani security on February 5, 2017. But, only under an agreement. Further, he said that he did honour the agreement for three years. However, he mentions in the audio clip that the authorities did violate the agreement. And how the authorities did keep him in jail with his children. He also said that he will release a statement in detail, later. The one that will mention the agreement he did make with the Pakistani security officials.
Furthermore, he said that he will also explain the conditions in which the authorities did force him and his family to live in. He claimed that this agreement did receive a nod from a prominent figure. Also, he added that he will reveal the terms and conditions of the agreement.
